If I could ask for prayers for my Annuncia...I was wizzing hot soup in the kitchen blender and the dials which I thought were on low, were not, it pulsed out with force and spurted around the kitchen ~ hot soup hit her in the face and she has suffered burns and bistering around her eye area and shoulders. Please pray for quick healing and no complications. Many thanks!
UPDATE: 5/19
Anne is very distressed and is taking her daughter to the hospital for eye swelling. Please continue to hold Anne and Annuncia in your prayers.

2nd UPDATE:
Thank you again dear friends, we are home. The doctor tested the eyes themselves, no burns, he was quite surprised by this, considering the whole eyesocket area is burnt.
The swelling he says is normal, but to watch for infection and keep using the aloe on the areas for a week or more...we are praying that there will be no scarring for her.

Praying. I had something similar happen when I was about 4 with a pot of hot tea water. How hard it is for both mother and child. We will pray for a speedy recovery, and comfort for both of you as you care for her burns.

Praying for your sweet little one Anne....I know from our own dear daughter Pilgrim's experience how worrisome and painful such burns can be. Aloe Vera gel is helpful. Our daughter's burns required more medical intervention....Silvadene is a prescription cream that works miraculously on burns.
May St. Raphael, St. Luke and St. Joan of Arc intercede for grace-filled healing of Annuncia's precious face and shoulders.
