Please pray for my friend's mother; she is 84 and took a fall tonight. She has bleeding on the brain and is being transferred to a hospital with neurosurgeons on staff, in preparation for potential surgery.

Please pray, too, for Beth (her daughter, my friend), who lives in a rural community; it will take her some time to travel to her mother's side.

Today's surgery went well and the doctors are cautiously optimistic. Please keep praying, as more surgery might be needed.

Side note: My friend is not a church-goer, so I felt encouraged by her request for prayers. Please pray for her, too.
