Please pray that our family can keep our home out foreclosure. This stress is added with another baby on the way. We need prayers that we can get the help we need to keep from losing our home and that we keep things as low anxiety as we can.

Might I suggest a flying novena or emergency novena (9 Memorares in a row) like Mother Teresa's nuns do?

I did post anonymously, but I really could use your prayers and any help you can offer us. It is us. We are the ones facing foreclosure. We were just notified by our bank today.
We are trying to find a way to stop this from happening. We have managed to hold on to our home for 2 years. Everything got more expensive then and we had several expensive emergencies for the house and lots of medical bills. Despite how hard my dear dear dh is working and trying to provide for us, we just aren't able to keep things going the way they are. We are checking out a credit counseling service that I THINK is a reputable one that may be able to stop this from happening. The thing that pushed us over the edge was a huge medical bill that HAD to be paid or else they were going to take us to court. That was my mortgage. We had so very many bills that we just couldn't make the minimum payment for everyone.
I always thought that if you worked hard, and prayed hard you could do it on one income. We cut back everywhere we could. We were creative and upbeat about it, and made it into a game with the kids. It just wasn't enough.
We had a few job opportunities but the people that really wanted to have dh (this is a second job) got hard hit by the economy and had to tell him that as much as they wanted him, they just couldn't hire him.
I have seen such a growth in faith in my family. Dh is more devout and absolutely beautiful but he is so heart-wounded. Please pray for him..and me...I am just hitting the 9month mark of pregnancy....and our children, of course.
There has to be a way to handle this gracefully, but I really don't know how to do that as of yet. If we could get out of this money pit of a house GRACEFULLY and start over again ..somewhere...we would, but we just don't know how and where at this point. We have been here our whole lives. To make things worse, our extended families wouldn't understand. I really don't want to be the poster child for why you don't trust in God and have a large family, because that just isn't true. It feels like we were doing great and thriving and then a snowball started rolling down the hill and caught us up in it.
My reason for not posting anonymously is this:
If ANYONE has any advice to offer us, please do. We know there must be some kind of way to handle this better and aren't fully aware of most of our options. If you know of any REPUTABLE people that specialize in this kind of thing, please let us know...
..and of course, please pray for us. I am trying to remain at peace, but my heart is so very very sad right now.
