Please ladies pray for my dear brother. He needs the grace and strength to quit drinking for once and for all. He wants to do it for his little boys sake, to be a good example, and he needs all the prayers you can offer for strength.
Please, also pray for him to have wisdom, courage and grace to confront things going on in his house, and for things to be resolved in the best possible way for his sake and the sake of his son. My brother has had so many difficulties in life  , some of them of his own making, but many of them not. I just ask you all to please surround him with prayers and grace during this crucial time for him, that he will finally get on the path to sanctity for once and for all, and live for Heaven, and that somehow his wife will come along, or if it is not reconcilable that the outcome will not be another wound to his soul or that of his little boy, whom he loves so very much. They are both named Jacob.
Please pray that he will receive well a letter my mother is giving him, and that the Holy Spirit will inspire it to be just what he needs to encourage him on to living life for God, to make the right changes in life.

Dear Ladies, Thank you all so much for any prayers you offer on behalf of Pilgrim's brother, Jacob, our oldest son. He will receive the letter tonight....we are all praying for a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit, for a grace-filled response that allows His Grace and Mercy to truly transform our son's life and the lives of everyone concerned. Please pray for the grace, wisdom and strength we ALL need to deal with the issues at hand, that everyone might truly respond according to God's most Holy and Perfect Will and Plan. I would also appreciate prayers for my own health, as stress really adds to my health issues..... I need to be able to keep functioning for the sake of the entire family in the days ahead. God bless all of you and all the intentions you each hold dear in your hearts! You all remain in hearts and in our prayers. Come Holy Spirit, enkindle in us the fire of Your Love and renew the face of the earth!

Pilgrim and Servant, I honestly thought that I had posted to this topic with my prayers. Please know that I have been praying!
Alcohol addiction is such a heavy cross to carry. And, I have seen redemption and straightening of path toward holiness from the struggle, time and time again. There is great HOPE! Praying for peace, patience, and respectful relationships...and for all of your intentions .
