Please join me in praying for those graduates who are burned out on school and on job searches. Our young people face many obstacles right now - large numbers of college applicants, shrinking financial aid, lack of available jobs. It can be depressing, to say the least.
I would like to pray for all of the graduates this year who are worried about their futures or who are not sure what to do to move their plans forward. Please join me in asking St. Joseph to pray for their intentions and future success.

Absolutely. It truly is a difficult time. May this time of struggle and uncertainty strengthen faith and trust in our Lord. May patience, fortitude, and humility bring wonderful opportunities!
Love,

Perfect timing for this prayer - touched me very personally. Certainly joining in prayer for all the graduates burned out on school and pondering their future. May the Blessed Mother guide them tenderly.

My oldest isn't there yet, but I can see this difficulty on the horizon. How hard for those experiencing this right now. Praying. Maybe St. Francis of Assisi would be good to intercede as he was pretty lost for a while at a similar age.

He was indeed, Sarah, and I think St. Francis would totally understand our children's concerns. I have been blessed with the opportunity to visit St. Francis' tomb in Assisi twice, and it is without a doubt one of the holiest and most evocative places I've ever been.
The inspiring part of Francis' story, of course, was his response to God's call, and his willingness to endure ridicule because God had asked him to fulfill a particular demand.
I think this is why we must continue to honor our Catholic saints and ask for their prayers. They've gone before us - in every walk of life, except perhaps Antarctic explorer - and found ways to put God first.

Praying also. We are experiencing this right now. It is frustrating for them and us. He needs his wings, but with student debt and the need for his own car, he's living here and working when he can.
Blessings,
Stephanie
