Many of you know that one of my aunts has cerebral palsy, developmental issues and mental health challenges. Her caregiver has been like a second mother to her. They are devoted to each other - Charlotte, the caregiver, is so loving that my aunt calls her "Mom." Charlotte has had a very difficult time recently - her husband died suddenly last year, she developed health issues of her own (which are not being addressed quickly enough, in my opinion), her car literally exploded outside my aunt's apartment, and now she will need to find a new place to live. She has managed a halfway house (previously with her husband) for many years, and the owner of the property sold it this week. She has three weeks to find a place to live - and half (or more) of her income has just been sold out from under her, too.
Please, please pray for Charlotte. She is so important to our family, and she needs to find a new home so quickly. The financial aspect of this will be a huge challenge, too. She does have family in the local area who can help in the short term, but she needs to find a way to a new level of stability.

Bumping this up. Things are worse. My parents are trying to help, but there was a lot more to this financial situation than they knew about...
I don't even know what to ask you to pray for right now, so please ask God to find a pathway for Charlotte that includes stable housing, a steady income and openness to improved financial responsibility. She needs all of those things but does not know how to go about finding any of them. God does, though, and we must trust in Him.
Thanks for your prayers. My mom is so grateful for them, and I am, too.

Angie, I wish I had good news but I don't. Things are still pretty chaotic. My parents are trying to work with Charlotte to help her manage her finances, but it isn't an easy task.
Prayers are definitely still needed, and I appreciate everyone's willingness to pray for this difficult situation.
