Hi Everyone,

Our oldest dd, who will be 10 in a couple of weeks, came down with a very nasty stomach bug several days ago and is still very sick. I took her to the pediatrician yesterday who confirmed it was "just a virus", but she is still spiking fevers near 101 and has stomach pains and occasional diarrhea. Her ballet school recital is this Sunday (May 16th) and she is supposed to dance in several roles, including a solo that she has been practicing all year! I talked to her last night about the potential of her not being able to participate on Sunday, and she burst into tears.... Please pray for a quick recovery for her and that no one else here gets sick. Thanks so much in advance -

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers! Dd's fever is now gone, and her stomach is much improved. She had small amounts to eat yesterday, and today her appetite seems to be a little better still. She will be meeting with her teacher tomorrow afternoon to practice her solo piece. Please pray that she will have enough strength/stamina to get through the recital and solo on Sunday! I will update you all on how it goes!
