I am offering the rest of my Lent for our forum. My heart is so heavy over what is happening here and the division that seems inevitable. I have not been here for Lent, and only checked in today after seeing a disturbing post in a forum to which I subscribe.
4Real is my online home, my only place I go for support other than some topic-specific yahoo groups. I followed Elizabeth here almost at the beginning. The faces have changed over the years, but so far we have weathered some strong challenges and remained a close community.
I pray that charity and a love for truth will win out and our community will be strengthened.
I will sign off until after Easter and pray about my place here. And I will pray for you all! It would hurt me to lose the friendships I have found here.

I agree this is a very, very sad time. I have such love and respect for folks on both sides of this thing.It is devastating, really.
ETA I am praying for a miracle that this division which seems inevitable will somehow be averted.

Joining in prayers! This forum is such a huge help and support to us homeschool Moms who are doing the work of God, all of us, in nuturing and raising our children in the Faith. MaryMary was so right, the devil would like nothing more than to steal from us the positive experiences, help, and friendships we have all gained here. We all need this place to support each other, may there be a miraculous resolution to this rift, may the merciful balm of our Lord pour over the wounds experienced by all involved, and may we all continue to be here for each other. I am unable to participate much here due to family needs, and working with dh on a new home-business, but I have been so very grateful for this place to come and find wise advice, prayers, and support, to have been welcomed here, in spite of the fact that I am not "one of the regulars" here. We are as a family praying for all involved, May the Lord Omnipotent send down His Truth into the minds and hearts of ALL involved, and may His peace "that surpasses all understanding" be upon us all!

Joining in prayer for all souls involved with 4Real. Lent and Holy Week always seem to be accompanied by great unrest and turmoil. The entire Church, including this smaller part of the Mystical Body, are certainly not immune from undergoing some of the same sufferings our Lord endured for our sakes. Surely our Holy Father, and the entire Church, are suffering with Christ on a much larger scale.
In every instance of division there is always something unholy at its root. Here, a single subject, seemingly innocuous on the surface....yet still unholy at its core....has divided a group of souls who come here seeking wisdom and encouragement in their vocations. May God enable each and every one of us, through this difficulty, to recognize those areas where we may need to grow spiritually. May the Light of Christ shine on those areas where human weakness or pride may have contributed to this discord. May Our Lord guide us in offering the same Mercy and Charity to one another that we wish to have offered on our own behalf. If we wish to have the goodness of our motives and intentions recognized, we need to afford others that same benefit. Oneday, this will all seem so insignificant....the details of this life really do not matter! What truly matters is whether or not we are truly doing the Holy Will of God.
Praying throughout these final days of Lent for everyone involved with 4Real, in any capacity, and for all the dear friends in Faith who have been brought together here in our desire to raise our children up in the Ways of our Lord. May God bless all of you and hold you close to His Sacred Heart during these final days of Lent. May all our thoughts, words and deeds be for His Honor and Glory!
