I wanted to update everyone and say thank you for your prayers. For the first time since Oct 2008 (or longer), my adorable 4 year old Ana, is out of pain! The meds finally allowed her stomach to heal. Now we are on a mission to get her gaining weight. She will always have EE/EGE and food allergies, she will always have avoid a long list of foods, but she does not have to be in pain.

Praise God!

Ana began eating eggs in October and passed with flying colors. After that we began an informal venison trial. By informal, I mean, I did not even consider it a trial because we only stopped serving it because we ran out. Anyway, it seems Ana is failing it. Throat clearing, complaining of food stuck in throat, stomach pain, throat pain, dark circles under eyes....GI w ants to do a scope if she is still in pain at out next appt, Dec. 22. Dh and I have decided that we will pull the venison until after the holidays so that she feels better for Christmas.
