Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I know there must be others who, like me, scroll down through the forum and hold their breath to see if there is a new prayer intention posted. When I saw that not one had been added today, I breathed a sigh of relief. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that I pray for everyone, even if I don't take that second to respond and often find myself thinking of you all and your families. I know that many of the intentions are ongoing and so my prayers will be too.

Blessings,

Suz,
Thank you so much for your post. Many times I have wanted to post similarly, but just never seem to do it.

I do however, read the posts and pray for those affected. And I cry along with everyone .

to you all!

Angela

Beautiful to hear, ladies; thank you! I fight the tendency to think few are praying when there are few replies to a prayer request, because it is simply not true. Thanks for the reminder and

This is a great board of wonderful women. I don't come on like I used to, but I keep you in my prayers and when I do check in, it is always the prayer board first. I am very happy to "know" you all.

There are days where I literally have time just to read and I don't get to respond. But often, if I see a post that doesn't have alot of responses I try to leave a note because I don't want anyone to feel overlooked. but I do pray as I read each post and throughout the day for all the prayer requests. for those I don't specifically remember, I offer a prayer for the intentions of the list.

Please know that I am one who usually comes to check the prayer requests every day. I don't post because I feel like I'm unable to express myself when I read the requests. I worry I might not say/post the best words of comfort...so, I pray without posting.

I'm always always praying though!

I'll make it a point to at least post "praying" so the person requesting has some comfort knowing this board does have prayer warriors.

Thank you, Suz, for starting this thread. It is good for all of us, especially those new to this board, to be reassured of the abundance of prayer found here. My heart fills with gratitude and joy to think of the many prayer warriors!

A few more thoughts on this topic...

I know that some folks prefer to "pm" (private message) to the prayer requests. If you haven't tried this option yet, please consider it! Just hit the "pm" at the bottom of the request and, like Michaela suggests, share a straight forward and heart felt "praying." This will go straight to the person who posted the request.

Some folks develop the habit of praying "for the 4Real/CCM intentions." Perhaps you can consider adding this intention to your family prayers if you haven't done so already.

Also, there are times when it is just too spiritually or emotionally challenging to read and/or respond to specific prayer requests. No worries! God knows the desire of our hearts as members of this community to hold each other in constant prayer.

For those who have been called to post prayer request replies at this board on a regular basis, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I take my tending to this list seriously and depend on you all to tend to it as well with your love and care. Your heart-felt and spiritually nourishing responses are consistently impressive.

Thank you all for, as Suz wrote, always praying.

Love,

Suz,

I'm so glad you started this thread. I get "post/no-post guilt." There are times when I can take the time to respond to all the prayer requests, and at other times, I cannot. Then I worry about having responded to Mom A's request, but not to Mom X, Y, or Z. Do I sound neurotic? Welcome to my world.

I do pray daily for all the CCM/forum intentions as part of my morning prayer time, as Angie mentioned. But I don't always have time to say that here, or to express how touched I feel by various requests and needs.

On the other hand, I know how uplifting it is to receive responses to a prayer request, so I try to, at least intermittently, make that time to respond to individual requests, either on the forum or as a pm, as Angie also mentioned.

Some of you are always here, always responding to all the prayer requests, and I find that awesome and think of it as a special charism in itself. Thanks for your faithfulness to such spiritual support and need.
