Would you offer a quick Ave for a friend who will be having a c-section in a few minutes? She is having her fifth section and has a full previa. She is not bleeding and has made it to 37 weeks, but your prayers for a safe birth would be appreciated.
My sweet friend and her baby boy are both in ICU tonight. She had placenta acreta and her bladder was involved. She was given eight pints of blood, had a hysterectomy and will spend at least three days in ICU. Little Levi weighted 5 lbs. 12 oz. and seems his lungs were not quite ready to face the world just yet. Your continued prayers for their recovery would be much appreciated.

Spoke with Colleen just a minute ago and she asked me to update on this prayer request.
Colleen's friend and the baby made a miraculous recovery through the night. Her friend has been moved to a regular room and the baby is doing so well that he's rooming with mom and nursing well now.

Continued prayers are appreciated for mom and baby as they continue to recover.

Spoke with Colleen again today and prayers are again needed for this mom! After yesterday's hopeful news, all sorts of things started going wrong - fever, impacted bowels - I can't remember everything Colleen mentioned - but there was a litany of events going south for this dear mama. If they were unable to stabilize her and see a significant improvement by shift change tonight, they were moving her back to ICU.
Please continue to pray for Colleen's friend!
