I know it's a small thing, but would you pray for my dd Annie tomorrow? She is on a homeschoolers' basketball team and they are traveling to a tournament in Hays, KS, about 3 hours west of us. She's so excited that I can't say "don't go" but we're expecting a snowstorm tomorrow. We can't go with her (dh can't travel overnight unless we have access to an electronic lift as he is an incomplete quadriplegic) but she's driving and staying with friends. We're under a winter storm warning starting at 6 am tomorrow. I have to drive her to our friends' house about an hour away in the morning. They want to get to Hays before the worst hits. Hays isn't expecting the worst of the weather--that's coming to our house! I'm trying not to be nervous, but I am. Please pray that all the families traveling to this tournament are safe. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for the prayers! Annie called me from the hotel in Hays and said they were about to go swimming. The snow didn't start til noon so they were able to drive mostly ahead of the storm. I'm so relieved. The house seems lonely without Annie, though. She's the kid who lives that line from "Tarzan": "The fun has arrived!" We'll be desperate to have her home on Friday night!
Anyway, thank you with all my heart for the prayers. It's snowy and blowy in this part of Kansas right now, so I'm glad we're in for the night and that Annie's ok.
