Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Just a little prayer request... I'm responsible for Thanksgiving dinner today and at 10 weeks pregnant am having a little trouble with all this food. If you could just spare a tiny little prayer for me so I manage to get through this without throwing up in the sweet potatoes?

Thank you...

I've been there ...can you discreetly put a clothes pin on your nose?    Praying!

Love,

Thank you! Things got better and I did not throw up on anything (or anyone). Our only mishap was when my 6 yo told my fil that "Mommy said" smoking had killed his taste buds. So, aside from wanting to slink under the table for a while, I made it.

Sorry I'm seeing this late - I'm glad you survived! Prayers for a nice weekend.
