I have a friend whose brother and sister-in-law's two week old baby daughter died overnight last night. I received the prayer request through another friend, so I don't have details. But I do know that the baby died at home, so it was a SIDs type situation. Please pray for comfort and grace and faith for the young mother and father and older sibling, and for my friend's entire extended family. I can't imagine the pain they must be going through now.

I am praying, Irene. I will offer up for this family. Today is the 12th anniversary of the death of my firstborn son, Will. He died the day after he was born from an undetected heart defect. I will pray for comfort for this family and our Rosary tonight will be especially for them.
