My father-in-law, Gus, has improved and is now in a rehabilitation facility. I and my dd are heading down to see him today. We need to
figure out where he will live after this, since it is clear he cannot live alone. Thankfully, Gus realizes this and isn't fighting it. We would like
to have him living close to us so we don't have to do the 6 hour drive to see him.
Prayers for our travel and for all these details working out are greatly appreciated.
Also, my nephew continues to do well at home.

Hello,
We have two heart wrenching situations happening right now. My father-in-law, 89 years old, is in hospital 6 hours away from us and not expected to live. We are leaving in the morning (dh, myself, 19, 23 and 27yo) and will hopefully make it in time. We have never been close to him (my dh was raised by his grandparents) and are unsure of his relationship with God. Also, it is not an easy drive.
And, my 14yo nephew has been hospitalized. He has been threatening suicide. His parents (my brother) are divorced and it is a difficult situation with his mother. My brother remarried 3 years ago to a wonderful woman who is oh-so-gently but surely leading him to the church. (She went through RCIA after they were married.) My heart is hurting for my nephew and my brother. I have faith that God will use this for good, but it's hard going through it.
I always pray for the intentions listed here, but I rarely post.

Thank you so much for your prayers!
First, my nephew is out of the hospital. His dad says he's doing well.
There is a lot of work ahead, but he's made some progress.
Second, my father-in-law is sloooowly improving! We're taking it
one day at time. He's still in ICU. My husband and I are hoping to head home tomorrow, as he needs to get back to work.
Again, thank you for praying.
