Another update added- bottom of posts.

I just found out that a gal I was in RCIA with last year will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning. She's up at Johns Hopkins and while I don't know details, she will be having a thoracotomy due to a mass behind her heart. She is the mother of a very sweet baby- around a year and 1/2 old.
She entered the Church with her husband at last year's Easter Vigil.
Prayers would be appreciated.

UPDATE#1:
Thank you all for the prayers. I just heard that the surgery went well and they were able to get the mass without opening her chest. She is currently in ICU but should be moved to a regular room soon. Prayers are still needed as the mass was hard, not what they expected and they won't know for several days what to make of it.

Thank you all for your prayers. Good news! I've just heard she is on her way home, still weak but getting stronger. The mass was a benign tumor of blood vessels and no further problems are expected. They have expressed appreciation for all prayers received.
