My BIL just found out that his next job is in Arizona. He has been supervising a construction project in his hometown (living with his mom) while his wife has been going to school (living in an apartment) for the last year - just seeing each other on the weekends. He is leaving Monday and she will not be done with school here in Nebraska until March.

To make things more difficult, they are on a waiting list to adopt - if they don't get a baby while she is still a resident, they have to start over down there.

I moved around a lot while growing up, but they are the first in my husband's family to leave the state - I'm not sure how everyone is going to take it...

What a difficult trial for them, Stephanie...being apart and seeking to adopt! I'll offer prayers that this transition is smooth and speedy and that they are reunited quickly with no other complications! I'll say a prayer as well for their adoption hopes!
