Hello, all

A short while ago we found out we are expecting baby #6. Needless to say we are elated, but after two consecutive miscarriages (Oct. '07, Apr. 09)our joy is circumspect.

I'm just so nervous. I'm constantly monitoring my symptoms, hoping to continue to feel sick and tired. (I'm certain the only people on earth who are thrilled to be sick and tired are pregnant mommies! )

I know so many dear ladies on these boards know these feelings intimately, this is why I am coming to you for prayers...

I have an appointment for an Ultrasound on Monday morning. I will be exactly 8 weeks along. I so desperately want to see this baby, see a tiny beating heart...but I am terrified of the opposite scenario.

Our children don't know about this baby yet. They pray constantly for sibling, and have been devastated at the previous losses.

Thanks so much for your prayers. Please know that I visit the prayer forum daily and keep all of your intentions close to my heart.

I am so overwhelmed by the charity and kindness on this forum!

The ultrasound today revealed a healthy baby measuring 8 weeks 3 days. That tiny little heart thumping away just gets me every time!
