Would you please keep in your prayers one of the dads from our homeschool group? His name is Alex and he is a father of 5 children. He and his wife traveled to Florida earlier this month so that Alex could have surgery on his back. He has been plagued with back problems for years and had reached a point of being in severe pain all the time.

Since being in Florida, he has developed pneumonia and a gall bladder infection. He will be having surgery tomorrow. He still needs to have the back surgery.

He and his wife have already been away from their children for weeks and it looks like it could be quite awhile longer. The kids are with friends and relatives, but I am sure they could use prayers, too.
