My brother and his wife seem to be in the midst of serious financial problems. He has been out of work due to an injury for over a year, has not been treated properly medically, and is very frustrated with his inability to work. I believe he is on disability. My SIL has been working retail and my parents have been helping them financially, but with three children it's difficult to make ends meet. My dh and I and another brother have been receiving calls from people asking for my brother and SIL for a couple of months now, and now my SIL has contacted me for information about filing bankruptcy.

I don't know all that's going on, and our relationship is touchy enough that I don't feel completely comfortable in this position. This brother has had a troubled life so far, and I do worry about him and his family. We all need prayer.
