Please pray for 2 babies that I know that have been exposed to the whooping cough.
One is a brand new baby - 1 month old and obviously not vaccinated. This is the age that is the most dangerous.
The other is my 10 month old nephew - he has had one dose of the vaccine. He has had a cough all week and it is getting worse. ETA **Actually she says that he is whooping now 
10/1 UPDATE: My nephew Noah weathered his cough quite well and I thought the baby was clear. Now she and her mother are both having "spasmy" coughs that seem (to me) to have a strong possibility of being whooping cough given the fact that I know they were exposed. Please pray for the baby (now 2 months old) and her mother's health as well as the parents and doctors in discerning treatment. Thank you again.
Also - please add prayers for the parents of these babies.

I had a baby and 4 other children with whooping cough 5 years ago. It was the scariest thing I have ever gone through. It lasted 4 months with 5 kids. I will be praying fervently for these 2 babies.

Dear Jen - our family is praying for these babies. My dd (now 12) caught whooping cough before she was a month old - and I remember how very frightening that was.

Thank you so much for all your prayers.
Noah (my nephew) is doing pretty well. He has a hoarse voice and coughs "like a dying cat". You think that would be bad news but it has not been debilitating and he is sleeping.
The other baby shows no symptoms so far.
Please keep praying and please add all babies to this prayer.

Oh poor little fellow. I'm glad to hear he is coping okay though. This is quite a long lasting illness isn't it?
Praying he is better soon, and for the other little baby not to get it.
