Update 9/23- My brother is in the hospital. He has had two seizures today and they are trying to get him stable. They think it is a result of his drinking and are worried about his liver.
I don't know what we are going to do. If they can get him healthy enough to travel, someone needs to go get him and find a safe place for him to recover and grieve. Otherwise, he will drink himself to death.
Please storm Heaven for him!
A side issue is that my parents are planning to head to Italy for the first time this Friday, a once-in-a-lifetime trip which was a 50th anniversary gift from their children. Please pray that my brother will be stable enough and my siblings and I get a plan in place so that my parents can leave and enjoy their trip.

Update 9/21- Please, please keep praying for my brother, David! He is taking his wife's death terribly, as I knew he would. I am so afraid for him. He is in Florida and the rest of us are so far away. Today he went to the ER with a nosebleed that had been going on for four days. I am afraid he may be drinking. I feel helpless and worried. All I can do is beg for God's healing and mercy for him. Please pray with me!

My sister-in-law, Tonya, had a heart attack and died yesterday. Please pray for the repose of her soul. She was not Catholic but was a lovely Christian woman. She leaves behind six children from a previous marriage, lots of grandbabies, and my brother and his 14 yr old daughter.
I am begging prayers for my brother and his daughter. My brother has struggled with substance addictions and depression for decades. Tonya was his lifeline, a miracle found only a few years ago. We all know that she was the only thing keeping him from completely falling apart. I am terrified for him!  His name is David. His daughter is Molly. Tonya was so important in her life too.
Please, please storm Heaven for my brother and his daughter! In my heart, I feel this is the most urgent, important request I have ever had.
