Please pray that God grants me the proper words.
I need to tell a mom that I found evidence of her 14 year old daughter in an extrememly immoral situation. I do not really know the mom. We have met but I know very little about their family. They are from our sister parish. Mom is a devote Catholic and I know this will devastate her. I do not what to say, I just know that I need to make her aware. If it was my child, I would want to know. We are meeting Friday, as the child in question will be busy at that time.
Saint Chrysostom pray for me. And may a mantle of protection enfold this family.

Update:
I saw the girl this weekend at a joint parish retreat. After confession and adoration she approached me. She thanked me for making her mom aware of what she was doing, apologized for putting my son and I in such a difficult situation, and thanked me for my son's discretion with her reputation. She seemed more at peace than I had ever seen her and she said her relationship with her mother has improved tremendously in last few weeks.
Thank you for your prayers.
Thank God this girl and her mother are on the road to dealing with her difficulties.
