Thank you all for your prayers - just got the safe arrival phone call. I'm relieved.
She sounds excited, the chamber group she was assigned to looks like a good personality fit and her assigned lesson professor has offered her an extra lesson if she wants it. She sounds happy, and not too frazzled with getting lost in LA international. She did get a bite to eat and is over the sticker shock of how much cash she had to pay the taxi just to get from the airport to her destination. Luckily she didn't end up heading to the Virgin Islands.
