Hi,
I tried to update my post, but I don't think it worked. My brother is still in the ICU of columbia Presby. in NYC. He is still under heavy sedation on a respirator and has 4 chest tubes in to help drain his lungs. They still don't know what exactly is going on, or why. He has developed a rash which they have biopsied, in the hopes that it will reveal some more info. they have also begun testing him for various autoimmune conditions (can't believe that they have waited so long to do this.)
His son is leaving my house today to go to his grandmother's. He does not have a good understanding of the situation. My sister in law is overwhelmed and just trying to have faith and get through each day.
Please continue to pray, it is a comfort to us.

Kerry, this is such a deep worry for you all. Praying for your brother's healing and that he stays strong in body and mind with all that he has endured so far.

My goodness, Kerry...I cannot believe this is still ongoing! Your poor family! I'm praying that there might be some answers forthcoming soon along with a plan that will speed healing your brother's way. I'm praying as well for his son and wife and all of you who must be so worried for him! Keep us updated when you can!
