Prayer request for my teeth. I had some dental work done last Thursday and now I am in some discomfort. I know enough about medicine (nurse who used to work for oral surgeons) that this is probably an infection. This would mean root canal and $$$ that we don't have right now. Plus, I am still nursing so I am not quite sure about pain medicine/antibiotics. I am calling the dentist tomorrow so please pray that its not as bad as I suspect (little bit of medical knowledge + imagination = not good!)TIA!
UPDATE: Thanks so much!It seems that I had some really deep dental work and the nerve block is slowly wearing off. I still need to keep an eye on the tooth and report any sensitivity to hot/cold but so far so good. It has been feeling a little better every day. Thanks again and calling on St Apollonia for anybody's elses dental woes!

Jenny, you probably know this from working as a nurse but if it is an infection, you will need antibiotics so that the infection does not travel to the rest of the body.(I was a dental assistant for 5 years.) Praying for this situation and that you will find comfort and healing!
