Our car is broken, again. We paid over $2500 last month to have the transmission repaired, and it is doing the same thing (won't shift out of low gear). The repair shop says it's not a transmission problem and won't honor the warranty.

We do not have any money for a new car (we cannot afford any kind of car payment, at all) nor can we pay for any kind of repair (our emergency fund was just used up w/ last car repair, an illness and short work weeks, and new baby!)

This is our only vehicle, so now we are without a car in a part of town without public transportation. I just may end up baptizing this baby myself at home! LOL.

Please pray that the repair shop makes it right or for a working vehicle!

Praying for this situation and for some kind of miracle. We were in a similar situation last month and found someone to repair our car and let us make payments. He was such a blessing! Praying!

UPDATE!

The mechanic DID have a change of heart! The owner of the chain told us to bring the car in Monday and they'll take care of the repairs, no charge, even if they have to pay an electrician to fix it.
