Dear Ladybugs, Carole N, Ruth, Angie Mc, Jody, Booksnbabes, Chari, Taffy, mimip, stefoodie, aussieannie, hylabrook1, MackFam, MaryMary, GloriaJMJ and mariB,
Thanks be to God this situation has been resolved! THANK YOU, EACH ONE OF YOU WHO PRAYED FOR ME!
 The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is being offered for you, in thanksgiving for all you've done

I am feeling alone with a situation involving my In-laws..my Husband is not saying a word at this time.
Two years ago, for my then 9 year old's bday, a relative went directly to her and said she was going to take her out shopping, planning a day with her. My DH and I were caught off guard when our DD excitedly told us about it, as nothing was mentionned to us beforehand. It ended up happening.
Now it's my 2nd DD.. who is turning 9. The same relative went through another relative who asked our child (again when my DH and I were not in the room) that the first relative wanted to take her out for a haircut. DD told us about it, happy to have the attention. About a week later, my DD told me she does not want to get her haircut.
I called and told the second relative what my DD told me, as well as to tell the first relative the next time she'd like to take our kids out, to check with my DH and I first. The second relative was very upset, saying to me that there are going to be hard feelings. I am mad that the first relative put the second relative in the middle, and that he allowed himself to be. Now the relationship b/w the second relative and I is strained.
I strongly feel, if an adult wants to take a child somewhere, that the adult should ask the child's parents permission first!
I need prayers for strength to be my kids' ADVOCATE. If I don't, no one else will!
