I'm having surgery on my foot/toe Tuesday at 7 am and would be grateful for prayers. It's not supposed to be a big deal, but I'm kind of nervous and especially concerned for the recovery period (pain, off my feet for a couple of weeks, not fully back to normal for a couple of months...) I'm not real good at sitting back and letting the others run things..

Thank you all for your prayers! I'm beyond the pain, on crutches for a few more weeks, getting rid of the big dressing next week (exchanging it for a clean sock under the boot). All is going well. I did have a couple of panic attack sort of experiences, but have since been told by the dr.'s office that this is a common reaction to the anesthesia and/or strong pain meds (thanks, guys....). Seriously,I was greatly comforted to hear that it isn't something wrong with me that I can expect to come back! So, I have time to sit around and eat bon-bons while dh and dc take over my work.
