She's about 5 months pregnant with her first baby; she's a young bride, just 19 or 20 years old. She caught a stomach bug and vomited so much that she started to have contractions. She's stable now, but will be in the hospital for a few days.

Her name's Heather, and she's expecting a baby boy.

More bad news...

Heather still has a high fever (104) and can't keep anything down. The hospital is trying to do a CAT scan to see about appendicitis, but is having problems accomplishing this. If they can't get a good view and/or break the fever in the next hour, they will have to do exploratory surgery to find out why Heather is so sick. Her husband and mom are spending the night in the hospital with her (it's an hour away from here).

Please keep praying for Heather.

Another update...no surgery yet. The fever is down to 99 degrees . Heather needs to be totally fever-free to be sent home, though. They think she may have a kidney infection that just spread all over the place. (Translation: They have no idea what is going on.) So far Mommy and baby are OK...please keep praying!
