Our DD#2 will be having 1/2 of her thyroid removed tomorrow. If cancer, she will have the rest removed and have some radiation if benign she will be watched. The results of the biopsy should take a few days.
Please pray for her, her medical staff and her Dad and me.
Thank you.


DD#2 did well in surgery and the initial labs results did id the cells as expected. In the next few days we will find out if these cells are malignant or benign (depends on how they grow). My DD came home this morning and the parathyroid was not compromised so her calcium levels are fine. Her inscision was glued so scarring may be minimal
