I just want to thank you all for your recent prayers. I have' been scarce on these boards as life and concerns have taken over, but I did want to give a brief update.
My husband DID accept the job in Boston and we rearranged our lives to make it work in the best possible way. He came home after a few weeks and we made the decision that it wouldn't work in the long run. He offered to return for a period, but was told not to bother.
He accepted another job locally, so we're hoping that it will be beneficial to us. It's still 100% commission, and this economy is still tough, but we're doing what we can and hoping we can repair our credit in a year or so.
I am still working part-time as an instructor, as well as accepting freelance writing assignments -- which is a challenge as I try to balance it all and deal with a 2yo that doesn't want to be left with a sitter and homeschooling through it all. If it wasn't for my income these last few months, though, we would have lost our house and more.
I have prayed long and hard about all the decisions I've been making and can only assume that I'm being guided by the Holy Spirit even as my heart breaks at some. I'm grateful that my boys have really stepped up and worked independently when necessary.
know that I keep this board in my prayers daily. I have received so much support, encouragement and wisdom from reading the posts here that I'm grateful that I am a small part of this board.

I'm with you! I especially appreciate this board when I need to be away and am facing difficulties. Thank *you* and all prayerful friends here for choosing to form a prayer community for each other.
