It seems that I come here way to much for myself, but here I am again at a time of year that I am totally overwhelmed. These times seem to revolve around health crisises of the past (this one being the fact that 3 years ago on May 9 I suffered a pulmonary embolism, with a 6 day old baby at home, resulting in a week in ICU with NO baby)
I know this time is coming and I try to stop it, but this year I am sick with a bug--always wondering if it is something more ominous--and I have fallen hard. I would rather stay in bed than deal with anything right now--only prayer gets me through, so here I am, begging again, for you wonderful ladies to get me through---
Sleep is full of nightmares and days are almost unbearable.
Please help me ladies....

Oh, Joann! I am so sorry you are suffering! 
I know it was such a traumatic thing.......but, you have a miracle: you survived a pulmonary embolism!
I am so glad you are here with us.....with your children.
You lay low as long as you need.........we will support you with our prayers......UNCEASINGLY!!!!
And, dont think you EVER post too much for yourself! When you turn to us for prayer.......you are really turning to God........and that is exactly what you should do.......especially if you are too low to pray for yourself.....you know WE can do it for you.
NEVER avoid us, thinking it is too much........we LOVE TO PRAY!

PS I have a cold that will not let go right now.......I am offering it all up for you!

I empathize with your anxiety. Know that you are NEVER asking too much for yourself. It is exactly what you need to do during these times when you are feeling weak. We will offer our strength to you in prayer. Anniversaries of traumatic experiences are the hardest! That is not an opinion, that is a fact! Distraction can help. Sometimes, our minds are like bad neighborhoods that we shouldn't be allowed to wander in after dark. Do whatever you can to distract yourself while you ride this out. It will get better. Believe that.

Oh dear sweet Joann who I notice is ALWAYS praying for everybody else..I will light a candle for you at Mary's altar tomorrow, on Mother's Day. Asking our devoted Mother to wrap you in her arms, where you can safely take refuge for as long as you need too

Praying for you, Joann. It may help to remember that when you ask someone to pray for you, you are giving them an opportunity to perform an act of charity. This is not a bad thing. Your requests are not burdens! So, please, don't feel guilty about asking for prayers.

Be assured of my prayers.
I don't know if this could be at all helpful, but I just started a book called From Fatigued to Fantastic. The doctor who wrote it talks about how a single illness or event, as well as long-term stressors, can wreak havoc in our bodies for years in the form of Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, depression and other hormonal problems. I mention it because maybe you are still suffering the effects of that illness and extreme stress. Perhaps his book and ideas could help you out of this endless loop.
I know how hard it is to function as mom when you can't even get yourself feeling right. Big hugs and big prayers for you!
