We are saying good-bye to friends tomorrow as they move back to their home state and I am so sad. Please pray that I can accept God's will in this and trust in His plan for(both)our futures.

It's so hard to say goodbye. We will be saying goodbye to a family who has been such an integral part of our homeschool group. Such is the military life for us.

I think many of us know your sorrow in losing the companionship of a good friend.

A dear, dear friend of mine moved from VA to TX about 4 years ago...and we have faithfully "met" for a cup of tea by telephone once a month since she has been moved.

This was basically an extension of the once a month luncheon that we used to have in person.

It has proved to be a beautiful way to keep connected and I would dare say provides both of us great comfort.

I would encourage you and your friend to do the same.

You will be in my prayers.

May the Lord bring you consolation.

Oh boy, this has been us in reverse twice in the past few years. In his infinite mercy God has a plan for all of us, though it's can be terribly difficult on everyone. God Bless you and your dear friends. Praying you can utter the words "so long" rather than "good bye" because it sure helps to keep that light brighter on a hard day. Hugs!
