My MIL was hit by a car this morning. She is alert and "with it" but has quite a few broken bones. She will be going into surgery this afternoon. Please pray for the surgeons, too. Also, my SIL who is with her, that she keeps up her strength.

Thank you all for the prayers. My MIL is doing ok. She is still in the hospital, but now in the PT ward. We don't know how long her hospital stay will be. Thank you again, Prayer Warriors!

Oh my, that is awful. It's fortunate that her injuries aren't life-threatening. We'll be praying for her during the surgery and for a speedy and complete recovery.

Thank you for all the prayers. She did well with her first surgery. The plan is to do a few short surgeries as there is some bleeding in her brain. She has quite a few broken bones, and of course being far away we get the info second hand. I think she has a broken hip, femur, ankle. and a break just above the ankle, also her arm, wrist and clavical are broken. It happened right outsider her apartment building.
It is going to be a long recovery.
