I stayed up late last night to follow this tragedy. I've visited this wonderful and beautiful part of Italy several times. I can't believe some of the streets I walked are full of rubble, or that 150+ have died. (Building codes are different there...lots of masonry, bad in earthquakes...) Please pray for the families who've lost loved ones and for those who have nowhere to live.

Thanks, Nancy. I took the liberty to update this Topic to include Stef (stefoodie) and her family who recently moved to Italy, just east of the earthquake. My dd is in close contact with Stef's dd, but we haven't heard from them yet - which isn't that unusual because their online access was already slow and poor. I'll let you all know when we do hear from them.

We have been praying for all affected. Also for Stef's family and the many people who go to Rome for Holy Week. (Rome is only about 60 miles away) For some reason I was worried that Carole in Wales was visiting Italy this Spring - I am going to email her to check she is ok.
