Please pray for our friends' son. He is in a lot of emotional pain right now.
He has threatened to kill himself. This just breaks my heart. I found this out yesterday and can't stop thinking of him or praying for him.

He is going away to a school that is 3000 miles away from his parents. Our boys really love him. He can only take one book with him and we have bought him a Bible with all of our children's names and little messages written in it. He is not Catholic or really any religion. We are praying that he finds peace and learns to know how much God loves him!

Please, please pray! Thank you!

That was a good thing you did by giving him a Bible and personalizing it with such love.
Am going to pray to all his classmates' Guardian Angels attending his school to watch over him and keep temptation away.
And will spray holy water often into the air, asking God to send its protection on him.
Can you call the School and notify a Counsellor to talk with him?

Thank you so much for praying! We got to spend some time with him throughout the weekend. I've been praying for him throughout the night hours. Yes...he will have a counsellor to talk with him.

Our boys are away right now, so he will come by to hang out this week with me and the girls.
He has never been exposed to the Bible so the boys posted yellow sticky tabs where their favorite books and verses are. They chose Proverbs, Psalm 23, our 17 year old suggested the book of Joshua (there are some really good battles in there, he said:), Luke...and the boys mentioned that his favorite rock group, U2, uses Bible verses a lot in their songs. Now praying to the Holy Spirit to heal and guide this dear boy!

He is leaving friday...so our paths won't cross physically until late summer. I will do the Holy Water too, Nique...thank you for doing that!

Again, thanks to all of you prayer warriors!

Praying for this youth...and will ask my dh to as well (Dh has a special place in his work and prayer life for those who struggle with suicidal thoughts/behaviors, especially young people.)
