I have been in the most horrible pain, with vomiting today. I have seen a doctor, and I am choosing to fight gall stones naturally. I detest surgeries and hospitals, I have had more than a fair share.
I did a search here and have read many of you have suffered this problem. Please pray for me and if anyone has successfully treated these stones naturally please let me know.

I did not but I have some friends who've battled them successfully with beans.. baked beans in the way one ate them. I might not have time to find the info this evening.. I only have 30 minutes before I have to be somewhere. But I'll try and get to it later and post.

wow I found it fast..

your best bet for "cleansing" the gall bladder is to be sure to get plenty of soluble fiber every day. That binds to the bile and takes it out of the body, which causes NEW (clean) bile to be made, which will, over time, clear out stones |

So I guess the beans are just a good source of soluable fiber. But there's others, fruits and veggies etc. And lowering fats and cholesterol is the other recommendation.

oh, hugs!
Really, the surgery is not that bad. I was terrified (and I have panic/anxiety disorder, so my "terrified" is really, really bad....)about having the surgery too, especially as this was right after I had a DVT so there was the added worry of additonal blood clots. But I am not sorry I had that surgery at all. The pain - even on the days it was better - never was gone all the way, and I never knew when it was going to clobber me again. It got too exhausting. I don't even really have scars from it. I didn't have stones, I had "sludge" and then eventually the GB just stopped working right - and would spasm - which was sheer agony.
I hope you feel better. I will be praying for you!

Thanks Jody and CM. I have had 3 attacks in the past month. I thought it was food poisoning the first time. The spasms had me in the fetal position for over an hour today. It is frightening and exhausting.

Molly! That is no good. I had a friend who was booked in for the op and then decided to go to a natropath that put her on herbs to fix it. It did and that was many years ago now. Do you have any really good natural practioners around your neck of the wood?

I do Anne, that is who I ended up seeing tonight. I just showed up at his office after our GP, wanted to do surgery. I am consulting a homeopathic MD tomorrow for his input.
I just need to get this under control, my dh is away quite a bit, and with a baby to care for, I really cannot have surgery.

When I had the surgery I needed my dh for the day of the surgery and 2 days after (so 3 total) and I was able to care for my 6mo old baby and myself at that point. So even with my dh's often gone schedule (my 12 yr old was the baby) we were able to arrange it.
I'm all for fixing it without surgery though.. 12 yrs ago the only information out there was on a few herbs that I couldn't take to help dissolve the stones.
I went super low fat diet until the surgery and managed.. but it was hard.

Praying for you. My DH just had the surgery in February. God bless you for trying to take care of it naturally. That is what I would do to. I'll pray that you find something soon.
