Please pray for our 5yo son. He is struggling with some of his life story right now and very distressed by the idea that he has "germs to be ill in his mind" from his birth mother. We do all we can to reassure and "reprogram" his thoughts, but it isn't working. He is also very hyper at the moment, as well as blaming me for everything that happens (if he drops a biscuit on the floor, or his nappy leaks for example) which apparently shows he has regressed mentally at the moment and is thinking we are one entity.

Praying..I'm sorry, how hard this must be!
Lucy, does your son have a Priest he especially likes? Could you call him and explain the situation and ask if your son and family could come in for a "Special Blessing"?
In his Blessing, ask your Priest to also say the same words your son uses in describing what was told to him "germs to be ill in his mind" .. asking God to specifically take them away using a good explanation so a little boy his age could visualize it actually leaving..you know..have a mental image of it.
I will be praying to Saint Dymphna asking her to intercede for your son, your family and his birth mother.
