I'm asking for prayers for my son (13) who has to have a cyst removed from his jaw tomorrow morning. It is growing out of an un-erupted tooth and has made a hole in his jaw!
Of course, the surgeon had to tell me all the horrible things it could be (cancer) but probably isn't and that he might have permanent nerve damage etc.  So maybe you can throw in a prayer for me too

Ben came through the surgery without a problem - the growth was the size of a walnut!! I don't know how it fit, but there is a whole in his jaw bone to match!
Anyway, now we wait for pathology. Some cysts are aggressive and require further surgery. And the size of the hold in his mouth means infection is possible and even likely.
