First for dh's grandmother as she finishes her rehabilitation program at the hospital following her stroke. How well she does with therapy will determine whether she goes home or into a long-term rehabilitation facility. We humbly ask prayers of thanksgiving for Grandma having come through a massive stroke relatively unscathed and prayers that His will be done with regard to her living situation after this week.

Second for my college roommate and dear friend. We recently found out she miscarried in August. She is expecting again and is bleeding again. They are about 8 weeks along and understandably scared that they will lose this child too. Prayers for her peace and for baby to hang in there (if it be God's will, of course), would be appreciated!

My friend lost her baby. Please pray for their healing. This is the second loss in six months and they are reeling from the blow. I feel guilty for being at 31 1/2 weeks right now.

First of all, please don't feel guilty for carrying a precious baby to term. What a joy, I am sorry your friend is having to bear this Cross again so soon. I understand as we went through the same thing delivering two babies in Jan and in May of 08. I will take your friend to Mass with me in the morning. May Our Lady Wrap your friend in Her Mantle.
