DH's grandmother had a mastectomy a couple years ago and all seems to have gone well with that. But at her mammogram last week they found a lump in the other breast. They suspect it is just a cyst, but she is understandably stressed. Please pray for the lump to be nothing serious and for her peace as she awaits further testing and the results of that testing.

No test results yet, but more prayers needed as grandma suffered a minor stroke sometime last night or this morning. She has her mobility and can feed herself, use the restroom, etc., but it has affected the area of her brain that processes speech. Except for her prayers and some songs, nothing comes out making any sense. When she gets frustrated with not being able to say what she wants to say (it seems like she has it right in her head but cannot make it come out right), she breaks into the Hail Mary.  
This a great cross for her to bear as she is a very, VERY verbal person. Prayers of thanksgiving that the stroke passed with so little damage done and prayers that they might find the cause and be successful with therapy would be greatly appreciated. And for my MIL who is essentially grandma's caretaker (it is her mother)--she is understandably stressed--that she have peace.

Praying for her, Booksnbabes. My mil has suffered a series of small strokes which have left her verbal abilites challenged as well. I know how hard of a cross that is to bear, to not be able to get out verbally what they want to say.
