Some of you may remember when I posted about the Girard Family tragedy and asked for your prayers. I mentioned that they would be the recipients of an Extreme Home Makeover which aired last night.
I'm terribly sorry that I didn't post a reminder to watch the show, but in retrospect the commercials were so awful that it's probably best to watch it when it comes on YouTube.
Here is an article & video from the local newspaper. Also Extreme Makeovershas posted a photo gallery on its website.

You can also watch full episodes of extreme makeover online with just three 30 second commericials in between.

I thought I heard about the family here. I was in puddles through the whole show. (We record it on the DVR) What an amazing family, such a strong mom!

I missed it too... but watched several clips of photos on You Tube. I just searched Extreme Makeover Home Edition - Girard Family.
I was crying too.

I watched the whole show online using the ABC Full Episode Player and bawled like a big baby! What a beautiful family!

They are truly amazing & a perfect example of God giving one the grace for whatever happens. There has never been a sense of "poor me" and they are truly convicted that the entire drowning incident was God's will. They all have an incredibly strong faith.

This was so amazing...I was crying too!  Their strength is such a witness. Sending prayers their way...prayers of thanksgiving and prayers for their intentions as well.
