Please pray for Australia, the bushfires continue to rage in Victoria, the latest confirmed dead is 166 with the toll still expected to rise. Doctor's are treating victims around the clock,over 750 homes are lost, whole communities have been wiped out, this is the worst bushfire in the history of Australia. Please pray.

*UPDATE-15th Feb

Officially the death toll is at 181 now although we are still warned that more bodies are expected to be found and the end figure could be much higher.
Over a thousand people are homeless.
An arsonist has been arrested for one of the fires that caused the deaths of 100 people. A downed electricity pole caused another.
12 fires still continue to burn across the state of Victoria.
Yesterday the residents of Marysville a town that was razed to the ground were bused in to view their town, they are not yet allowed to return as it is still officially a crime scene.

Heartbreaking, simply heartbreaking, especially when reading the different accounts...praying for those poor people who have lost family and homes..and for the souls who have passed away.

Praying...with empathy. I grew up in an area known for fires (SoCal) and remember being frightened every time I saw flames on the mountains.

Praying here as well.
It is just unbelievable. So hard to comprehend the huge numbers of lives lost, communties and townships gone.
Some homeschool families are unaccounted for- I hope they are Ok, please God.
It is all so tragic and yet life goes on.

It truly is unbelievable. I cannot imagine the terror these poor people experienced. Praying for them.
