I just want to ask for prayers for all those families that are struggling to make ends meet, and for all the families that are dealing with unemployment. Also for the families that will be dealing with this in the near future.

My dh is temporarily unemployed, we don't know if it is for good or what and we are really starting to to feel 
I am trying my hardest to be positive, prayerful, and stay hopeful.
I know God has his hands in all that is happening. But I know that we will face hard times ahead of us. Please pray for our strength to perserve any additional losses we will face.
My biggest fear is losing the house and having to live with my dh family. They are great people with a big beautiful home but they are also very liberal and we don't see eye to eye on just about a lot of things. This fear is slowly creeping in and making my stomach go into knots! This might not happen for a few more months or if at all, but the thought is just leaving me really really anxious.
We both have decided that we will homeschool our dc no matter what. But I am thinking of going back to work, although I really do not want to, I want to stay with my children. And as I write this my heart feels so heavy and torn.

Praying for you and your family Claudia! It would seem to me that the US is suffering more acutely with the financial crisis than Australia (even though we are definately suffering) I will be praying for you and families in general who are suffering unemployment.

Claudia - I am praying for you and your family. We say a daily Saint Joseph Prayer for the Unemployed- I have it on my blog and will add your husband to our daily prayers.
Here is the prayer:
Saint Joseph, thou wert thyself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon me in my anxiety over my present inability to support my family. Please help me to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from my head and that I am soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to my care. Help me to guard against bitterness and discouragement,so that we may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.

Oh, one more thing, if you would like to join this email list......it is an email list focused solely on praying for our husbands........and the women there love to pray.
We pray a monthly novena and twice yearly rosary novenas for our husbands.......among other things.
