I found out last night that one of my best college friends is 14 weeks pregnant and has been put on bedrest. She is having contractions that can only be controlled by medication and has been diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. She has a history of multiple miscarriages and they lost one child a year and a half ago (born at 24 weeks, lived 15 days). 
Please pray for the health and safety of mom and baby, for her dh and their 3-yr.-old son as they adjust to mom on bedrest, for those coming to help her during the day, and for mom's mental state, that she not stress too much with so much time to think (and think, and think).

1/22 update
Praise God! My friend was checked today and she has been allowed minimal activity!  She is in very good spirits and it looks like baby is going to stay put for now!
Thank you for all of your prayers. Please pray that her condition will continue to improve.
