Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am concerned about her... probably nothing serious but one of those things you have to call the doctor about even after hours just in case. On advice of the pediatrician's nurse and as I expected to be told from reading on the Web, I've avoided dairy (even "hidden" dairy and most shared equipment items!) because she had just a little bit of blood in 2 very close together dirty diapers overnight Sun./Mon., now it's Friday evening and she's had another two close together with blood. She seems fine. Waiting for a call back anyway. So glad pediatrician has hours tomorrow morning.

Hope this is not too selfish, but please pray for me too. I have NOT been doing well with having a "good attitude" about each new problem added to the pile. From what I've read it probably takes longer than this without eating any for the casein to be out of my system completely, but maybe it's something else.

Praying for you and baby.

You're right it can take up to two weeks for those proteins to be removed from your body.

Could it just be explosive poos? I had a friend that had a baby that just went a little too fast or strained and it was blood from her skin tearing around her bottom. Just a thought...

My sister's dd did the same thing. She actually had to come off of all cow's products, including meat etc....but it did clear up completely, and by the time she was one year old, it had resolved, and this kiddo can have all things dairy now.

Hope you get to the bottom of it, no fun!!!

Praying for answers and resolution for your sweetie, and grace for you. Be gentle on yourself-it's often a "pile"of one thing after another, that just puts us in despair. Many and prayers for you and your family.

I have had to cut dairy (and various other foods) out of my diet for the last 3 girls. Dairy takes 2 weeks to get out of YOUR system and an additional 2-3 weeks to get out of the BABY's system.
