Please pray for my littlest one...she is 5 months old. She's had a fever (kind of low grade, 100.something to 101) for 2 days now. She is kind of fussy and she just vomited  for the first time this evening.
I'm also a worry wart because the one thing odd to me is that she doesn't like for me to sit her up to burp, she screams for a minute, then calms down. She also screams every time I snap her carseat into the base in the car. I don't know what this is about...maybe a headache too. Tylenol seems to lower the fever.
Please pray she gets well quickly and that I won't be so paranoid (drives dh crazy!)...oh and did I mention dh is out of town too...he's always gone it seems like during times like these, we have the worst timing!
Oh and I don't usually post my dc's names, but it's nice to pray for someone by name, her name is Celine. Thanks.

Well, Kacky knows what she's doing, but as a sort of PSA I wanted to mention that the symptoms reminded me of this which I was reading about just the other day, however unlikely it is to be in this case: WebMD: Meningitis-Symptoms
I hadn't realized the "stiff and painful neck" symptom was "especially when trying to touch the chin to the chest."

Well we went to the dr today and she discovered ulcers in the back of her mouth and throat, they looked viral. They did a strep test but it was negative. So we just doing the tylenol thing. She seems sort of better. I didn't even suspect a sore throat since she was eating fine, drinking a smaller amount by a little, but I chalked that up to feeling under the weather anyways. So hopefully this is all it is! Thanks for your prayers!!!!

She is doing great now! Back to her usual self. Ofcourse there are other dc around here now with the "mysterious" fever! It was two of the boys this weekend. And one of them is my high fever kid. His fever got to 104.8! I don't worry though, I know this is his "m.o." so to speak. But others think it sounds awful!
Anyways, I guess everyone is destined to be down two days with this...hopefully we'll be done before Christmas and won't circle back to Celine!
