My daughter is recovering from a burn on her chest and wrist. Spilled hot water. She was trying to get a mug out of the microwave on her own...
She is recovering nicely and is out of pain today. Happened yesterday. We are all tired.
Please keep her in your thoughts.
She is so sweet and was so brave.
Her name is Maggie.

10/27 Mon
Went in for 6 day follow up today. Nurse said she looked great and skin will heal fast. There will be discoloration for 6-12 months but they expect no scarring.   Her bandages came off and she has to wear lots of cream and a special shirt to sleep in. She is pain free at this point and only has good memories of the nice doctors. Thanks to all of you for keeping little Maggie in your thoughts.

Just seeing this. Our 5 yo recently did something very, very similiar and went through the burn treatment scenario. We are very familiar with the pain, fear and exhausting process.   We will be praying and enlisting 5 yo help as well. They do heal very quickly at that age so having someone familiar with pediatric burns helps avoid unnecessary treatment and pain. Many prayers for Maggie
