I have to take Ryan into Schneider's Children's Hospital today. The poor kid has to have a 24 hour video recorded EEG and he and I will be spending the night there. He will be hooked up by 40 electrodes glued to his head to a device that will be strapped to him and hooked to the bed. He will have just enough cord to get him to the bathroom but no more movement.

It's going to be a loooooong 24 hours.

Please pray that he endures this well and that they are able to capture his seizures on this device so we don't have to do this again. They need to see what kind of seizure he is having in order to adjust his meds. The 20 minute EEG didn't pick up anything.

Praying that the 24 hours pass by quickly and that this EEG attempt is successful so that it won't need to be repeated.

Thanks for your prayers ladies. It turned out we needed to stay an extra 24 hours. It was quite an ordeal, poor little guy. He was itchy and uncomfortable but he was a great trooper.

They did capture several seizures so the hospital stay was fruitful. The doctor increased his anti-seizure meds and we need to follow up in a few weeks.

I do so appreciate your prayers and support.
